What is Valplast?

Valplast is the name of the company based in the USA who has introduced a new revolutionary technology to the dental industry of producing flexible partial dentures. The material used is a denture base resin which is a  bio-compatible nylon thermoplastic with physical and aesthetic properties. The material is translucent which allows the patient`s natural tissue shade to blend with the denture and achieve natural looking gums and teeth.

Valpast flexible dentures are guaranteed for life but you will have to make sure that not any other material is used.

Not ALL flexible dentures are made from Valplast material.

Ask your dentist for the official Valplast lifetime Guarantee Certificate.

This is your guarantee that you have received a genuine Valplast appliance.

When Valpast Dentures can be used?

Valplast can be used for producing removable partial dentures. Unfortunately Valplast is not available on the NHS yet and it can be considerably more expensive than the classic acrylic dentures but it is fully functional, practically unbreakable and  aesthetically superior.

The translucency of Valplast makes the product ideal for patients who prefer not to have a fixed denture but still wants an aesthetic restoration. It feels more natural in the mouth and gives the patients more confidence when eating, smiling when appearing in public because of the excellent retention  and aesthetics.

Valplast dentures can also have teeth added and be re-based.

Valplast partial dentures can replace any conventional partial denture.

Valplast dentures are 100% Acrylic and Metal FREE.

Porcelain teeth can be used instead of acrylic teeth.

Excellent for distal extension partial.

Nesbits (Unilateral Side Plates).

Where the patient has boney tuberosity with labia undercuts.

  3. The appliance should be rinsed before reinserting in the mouth.
  4. Val-Clean is a concentrated denture cleaner that can be used for daily or periodic deep clean.
  5. To keep its surface hydrated, a Valplast appliance should be kept in water or Val-Clean whenever it is not being worn.
  6. Brushing of a Valplast denture is only recommended with a special Valplast denture brush made of silicone. Never use other types of brush as they may remove the polish and roughen the surface over time.
